You can use the mnemonic Fly Like An Eagle to remember the position of fulcrum, effort and load in the
three types of lever. The first letter of the words fly, like and eagle represents which component is in the middle.
The letters stand for fulcrum(F), load(L) and effort(E). Then you can put the other two components on either end
